French Curves was composed in 2002-3 for Les Coucous Bénévoles.
I've always been fascinated by French curves as objects - they seem delightfully irrational and yet are elegantly useful tools. Segments of French curves can be joined together to make new curves not found on the tools themselves. The possibilities are vast.
